Lincoln Parish (All)

Lincoln Parish, named for the late U. S. President Abraham Lincoln, is adjacent to Ouachita Parish to the east, with Ruston as the parish seat and I-20 is the main east-west corridor with Hwy 167 being the north-south connection. Lincoln Parish was created in 1873 from parts of Bienville, Claiborne, Union & Jackson Parishes.  Local festivals include the Annual Peach Festival in Ruston, Annual Chicken Festival in Dubach, with the Annual Watermelon Festival held in neighboring Farmerville.

Ruston is the home of Louisiana Tech University, with the neighboring town of Grambling the home of Grambling State University.  Links to areas of interest include:
